Τρώων πτολίεθρον = a town of the Trojan land, see note on 129. Homer never uses Τρ. πτολίεθρον of Troy, but Τρώων πόλις or Ἰλίου πτολίεθρον. Indeed the expression οὔ ποτε ἔχω cannot possibly mean οὐχ ἕξω, and 166 ff. obviously refer to repeated experience in the past. |
